I've now been working more on the design and decided to try and flesh out some of the image and add in some more details. I've also improved the lighting and added more to the backgrounds. I'm really pleased with how this piece is progressing.
The lighting is WAY better now without the ceiling light, dude. Good job! I'm guessing from his hand, he's just mashed his master? If so, some splatter on more than just his fist will help push the gruesome factor, I reckon, and make the image all the more uncomfortable for us, the viewer. Also, maybe as the piece progresses, (and you're probably going to do this anyway, so lol redundant comment) don't be afraid of having some real hard, confident edges in there to help him pop out even more!
